The hotel is close to the largest ski area in Trentino, with 150 km of slopes and 95% coverage thanks to carefully planned snow-making. Skiing is a real delight in the picturesque setting of the Brenta Dolomites, near to the resort of Madonna di Campiglio. From here, you can access 100 runs, reaching up to a height of 2,700 metres, and some like the Dolomitica are almost 6 km long. More experienced skiers can test themselves on the run used by champions during the annual Slalom World Cup: the Canalone Miramonti. There are 4 snow parks in the ski area for lovers of free style, as well as the chance to try many ski mountaineering trails in the company of expert local guides.
SPORT AND SURROUNDINGS
Outside the hotel near the start of the ski slopes, there’s a lovely 22-km circuit for cross-country skiing. There are various activities that you can do with mountain guides, including ski mountaineering excursions, snowshoe hikes and ice climbing. The Valley’s first toboggan run was opened in 2017, with a fun-filled 3-km track on Mount Spinale. Non-skiers may like to ride on a dog-sleigh and the more daring can try out paragliding from the top of Doss dei Sabion. There’s a modern ice-skating rink in Pinzolo.
The complex includes a gym and swimming pool.
